How to play

Each side has 15 checkers on the “head”. All move round the board one way — anticlockwise.
You cannot land where the opponent has even one checker. There is no hitting in long nardy.
One checker leaves the head per turn; two on a first-turn double.
A double is played four times. A die with no legal move is lost.
Once all 15 checkers are home (the last quarter of the way), they are borne off. Whoever bears off all first wins.
