Ömer Faik Nemanzade

Born in Ahıska, a journalist and publisher, one of the founders of the satirical magazine “Molla Nasreddin” (Tiflis, 1906), read from Istanbul to Tabriz. He died in the repressions of 1937. We gather his articles, books and the newspapers he worked with here first — each record with its source.

Сатирический журнал, основанный в Тифлисе в 1906 году. Омар Фаик Неманзаде, уроженец Ахыска, — один из его основателей: журнал печатался в его типографии «Гейрат». Смеялся над невежеством, суевериями и произволом — и потому читался от Стамбула до Тебриза.
